This is the polar opposite of the previous photo. This is the barn above the barn. I wanted to climb up in the hay loft you can see, but my father recommended against it as the barn has not been well maintained recently. Which was easily identified by all the holes in the floor. I was quick to comply, as falling through a floor is clearly not on my list of things to do.
I hope to get more photos of barns soon, both inside and out. Sadly, the ugliness of winter approaches, as such it will be hard to find anything beautiful to take photos of, everything will be very much lacking color. Though winter does have it’s own photographic appeal to me, perhaps not in HDR though.

I love the old architecture of barns and things of the like. There is just something about that old ragged barn, sitting there, neglected and falling apart, but oh so important to that farmer, that really just hits home for me. This barn in particular, from the outside, looks as normal as can be, however, it uses a geothermal system that was made prior to the current implementation.
The giant red bar has a wood floor, instead of the usual sand and hay. There is also a sort of barn underneath, which is where the photo was taken. This area is where the dairy cows would have been feeding and being milked, there are no longer any dairy cows, so this seems to have become a sort of temporary storage area of sorts. The lighting is really quite interesting and plays many tricks on the eyes, but works exceptionally well for my HDR.
I hope to make a return trip to the area during the winter in an effort to capture that mood in HDR, but time will tell. I hope that you enjoy this photo, and please rate accordingly.
