In light of recent events…. So sad I am to see you go, yet, in so many ways, the future without you looks so bright, as I am sure it does for you.
This photo was taken during a trip home from the Virginia/Cook areas of MN. I took my then girlfriend Chandra, to see a friend, Lisha, and her family. We stayed on the farm for the weekend, and really just relaxed for a few days. Chandra was happy to see the modern side of farming, as she is originally from Nepal, and farmed the old fashioned way, with your bare hands. She lived in a small village named Bartar (Please forgive if it is spelled incorrectly), which if you happen to search for on google maps, will look something like a forest in the middle of northern Minnesota, but with a river nearby instead of a lake.
I was recently blessed with the opportunity to visit Chandra in Arizona, and took many amazing photos. Sadly, I was very very heavily medicated to be able to do the hiking, and I was not able to capture a ton of quality photos, simply because I was pretty well out of it. Though the skies certainly are painted there. It was probably one of the last trips I will take. I will be going towards Chicago for Thanksgiving, so hopefully I will be able to capture some impressive photos then.
I am sad to announce that I will likely be selling my camera equipment soon. I am finding that the passion I once had is now gone. So when the time comes for me to sell the equipment I will of course post the necessary information here, and hopefully I will find some interest.
