The Bright Idea

This photo is a good bit out of my ordinary type of photo. I ran this one through PS (Photoshop CS4) in an effort to give it more of that wintery feel. I am confident my treatment did lend a bit of cold to the overall feel of the photo. I hope that you also feel the same, I consider this to be one of my best ever photos… Please vote and let me know what you think. I am finding that there are a great number of visitors coming to the site, but not voting, or commenting, please, it only takes a single click of the mouse for you to vote, they are the little stars at the bottom of the photo/post.

Thanks Everyone!

  1. Who owns the horse? I like your other pics better than this one. Your angle makes the horse look undernourished. Nice head though, warm eyes. You want cold, frost, etc? Come photograph mine. Mornings they are all covered in frost. The belly deep snow also adds the cold effects. I do like how you can see every hair, the very fine detail.

  3. Hey there Shelley, thanks for the comment. I will be coming over there one of these mornings to nab a set of photos. I think the main reason it has a “undernourished” is because I used a wide angle lens, I think the horses look more friendly and cuddly with a larger head. Or, maybe it is just my sense of humor and giving the horse an uber-noodle just makes me smile. hehe.

Thank you Corry, though I am uncertain who you are, I appreciate you taking the time to throw out a comment.
