This photo is a good bit out of my ordinary type of photo. I ran this one through PS (Photoshop CS4) in an effort to give it more of that wintery feel. I am confident my treatment did lend a bit of cold to the overall feel of the photo. I hope that you also feel the same, I consider this to be one of my best ever photos… Please vote and let me know what you think. I am finding that there are a great number of visitors coming to the site, but not voting, or commenting, please, it only takes a single click of the mouse for you to vote, they are the little stars at the bottom of the photo/post.

I have found a love for photographing pets. The way they seem to know what you are doing and behave accordingly. In this one Ginger was walking by not paying attention, then I pulled out my camera and she looked over and saw and seemed to give me a little head nod, as to say, “Sure Jacob, you can take my picture…” She stopped, posed, I snapped my photos and she was on her way again. I wish I had an SLR when I had pets of my own, with the time to photograph them, I can remember some wonderful shots I might have been able to get.

Yes, this is Ginger the dog. Do not let her apparent calm appearance fool you, she is evil, really evil. She was relaxing for a brief moment from terrorizing small children and her little sister Froot Loop.
I thought this was a “classic” photo. The dog lazily relaxing in front, the Radio Flyer wagon in the back. Just had a small town lemonade feel to it. I do hope you enjoy it, It is one of my favorite pet photos I have yet taken.

Fruit Loop is a sweet little dog. Her sister Ginger, I am sure, is the spawn of Satan. Fruit Loop however, will come up to you and cuddle and be all nice and sweet, until Ginger comes around, because as it seems, the spawn of Satan influence is directly proportional to Ginger’s distance from Fruit Loop. I did my best to separate them, but as it is with all siblings, they do their best to be together, fighting or otherwise.
Anyhow, in this particular photo she looks so sad, but I assure you, she was quite the opposite, entirely pooped out from her recent adventures in terrorizing the small children and neighbors.
